Dirt Road Debutante - Intermediate Level Academy
This Dirt Road Debutante Gravel Academy is for the intermediate-level gravel cyclist. The skills ride, topics of discussion, bicycle maintenance, and repair sessions will be directed towards racing gravel.
This is a Women's only gravel bicycle clinic. This is not your typical cycling camp. Here, you will have a lot of hands-on classroom time learning techniques, tips, and tricks to become a confident gravel cyclist and racer. The riding will be centered around the skills needed to be comfortable on gravel at speed.
Experience the sport of gravel racing in an intimate setting, limited to 20 ladies. You will be fully immersed in all things gravel from start to finish. With detailed classroom instruction and hands-on application, you will grow your confidence to navigate the toughest aspects of gravel and build your skills on the roads of Leavenworth, KS, under the guidance of Catherine Walberg - retired pro-mountain biker, Karen Pritchard - 6 x DK 200 Finisher and Age Group Champion, and Tiffany Burris - Head Coach for DarkEarly Racing. This clinic is for ladies interested in racing gravel and improving their skills with like-minded bad-asses. You will leave the clinic understanding what gravel racing is about, a better idea of how to train to cross the finish line with a smile, and how to be prepared for whatever the course has to offer.

200 and 100 mile Gravel Grinder, top 3 per category and overall. 50 mile top 3 in Men's and Women's. Post ride meal provided at one of our downtown restaurants. We ride rain or shine. Start/finish downtown Smithville, Missouri.

Dirt Road Debutante Gravel Academy is a WOMEN’S ONLY gravel cycling clinic for beginner and intermediate riders. This is not your typical cycling camp. Here you will have a lot of classroom time learning techniques, tips, and tricks to make gravel cycling a part of your lifestyle. The riding we do will be centered around the skills needed to be comfortable on gravel.
This clinic is for beginner gravel cyclists and those who cannot yet ride 30+ miles of gravel at one time.
Experience the sport of gravel cycling in a friendly, intimate setting limited to 20 ladies. You will be fully immersed in all things gravel from start to finish. With detailed classroom instruction and hands-on application, you will grow your confidence to navigate the toughest aspects of gravel and build your skills on the roads of Leavenworth, KS under the guidance of professional riders. This clinic is for ladies who are interested in the adventure that gravel offers including riding, racing, repairing your own bike, training to be ready, making friends, finding your tribe, and building lasting relationships with like-minded women who want to get out to see the beautiful surroundings, get fit and challenge their mind and body. You will leave the clinic feeling empowered and ready to tackle a grand adventure in your own backyard or around the world.
Wild Goose Chase Gravel Grinder
The Wild Goose Chase Gravel Grinder is a last hurrah before you put the bike on the trainer and burn rubber in the basement. Enjoy autumn in North Central Missouri's famed golden triangle starting at the World's Largest Goose, "Maxie" in Sumner, MO. Tour the roads through Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge, time trial through the Grand River bottom lands, take a picture at the World's Largest Pecan in Brunswick, MO, and don't forget to pack you climbing legs for just a few of those Missouri green hills. Multiple distances for riders, racers and the gravel curious mean good times for all. In conjunction with the Sumner Wild Goose Festival.
